A little bit about us.
CoderDojo is an initiative that runs free not-for-profit coding clubs and regular sessions for young people. At a CoderDojo, young people learn how to code, develop websites, apps, programs, games and more. Dojos are set up, run and taught by volunteers.
CoderDojo Greystones is entirely free to join, limited only by the number of places we can provide.
If you feel like donating just click on the button below we will use the funds to buy incidentals required to make Coderdojo work in the various venues (e.g. extension leads, certificates etc).
We run on Saturday afternoons during school term in Greystones Tennis Club, who kindly donate their premises to us. Again St. Kevins National School has kindly allowed us to run a Wednesday evening session.
The number of students we can cater for depends on the availability of volunteer mentors, so we cannot guarantee a place to everyone who wants one, but we will do our best.
CoderDojo aims to be a fun, engaging way to make new friends who share an interest in computing the technology, learn new things, and explore how to create using computers.
If you want to get involved fill in the Signup forms on the menu above and let us know what you would like to volunteer as. By doing this you will join our mailing lists but you can unsubscribe at any time.
Thanks to our sponsor Wicklow Broadband who provided Broadband Free of Charge to our classes over the past few years
